Walkers Hoops and Crosses Review

Walkers sent us some of their brand new crisps to try, Hoops and Crosses, made from wholegrains. We were sent the roast beef flavour, but they also come in prawn cocktail and salt and vinegar flavour. All flavours are suitable for vegetarians.

Joshua made short work of the Hoops and Crosses. Poor mummy.
They were really tasty and the kids demolished them quickly (I would have too given the chance). I love the fun shapes - X's and O's, hence the name. However, this is why I think they are really great:
  • Each bag has 85 calories
  • They are made from wholegrains, have no artificial colours or preservatives
  • A bag contain 30% less fat than the average packet of crisps

I'm always reluctant to put bags of crisps in packed lunches but these are so much more of a healthy option it wouldn't worry me as much. The kids loved them just as much as regular crisps, so I will definitely be buying them in the future.
